(Schwyzer 719) and as such identical with Latv. lę̃kâju, lę̃kât `fly, spring, hop'; the meaning ' βινεῖν' is of course euphemistic and secondary. The primary verb is seen in Lith. lekiù, lẽkti `fly, run', Latv. lèkt `id.'.
